More About the Competitive Exams
The competitive exams consist of two parts: the opposition phase and the merit evaluation phase.
The opposition phase includes two eliminatory tests, with the final grade being the average of both:
Part A: Practical test to assess scientific knowledge and the technical skills of the chosen specialty.
Part B: Written development of a topic, selected by the candidate from four randomly chosen topics.
The second test in this phase involves the oral defense of the lesson plan and a didactic unit, also divided into two parts:
Part A: Presentation and defense of the didactic programming.
Part B: Preparation and presentation of a didactic unit, selected from three randomly chosen units.
In the merit evaluation phase, the applicant’s credentials are assessed by the tribunal, including practical work and formal supplementary education.
