There is only one regular session for this exam in April. Registration usually takes place in March, at the Brazil Pavilion or the Rectorate's General Registry.
Requirements to register for the University Entrance Exam for those over 25
Those who have previously passed any other access method (University Entrance Exam, Higher Vocational Training Certificate, Pre-University Course, or Maturity Tests) are not eligible to take this exam. Contact us for full details of this application process.
To gain admission to the various university degrees, there are cut-off scores and reserved places for each type of entrance exam and for each degree program, which are published annually on the university's website. You can consult them here .
University entrance exam preparation classes are offered both in person and online from mid-September until mid-April, when the exams take place. Each subject is taught for three hours per week, divided into 90-minute classes.
In addition, we offer a free study room service on Friday afternoons, where professors from various subjects will answer your questions. Study rooms can be reserved through your student profile on our platform.
The entrance exam has two phases: the general phase and the specific phase. The general phase consists of three exercises and is common to all students
– Text commentary or development of a current affairs topic.
– Spanish language test.
– Foreign language test, choose between German, French, English, Italian or Portuguese.
The specific section is structured around five branches of knowledge; the candidate chooses the branch to which they apply and is examined on two subjects linked to it, at their choice, always including at least one of those that appear underlined.
– Arts and Humanities: Technical Drawing, Geography, General and Art History, Latin and History of Philosophy.
– Sciences: Mathematics, Physics , Biology and Chemistry.
– Health Sciences: Biology, Chemistry , Physics and Mathematics.
– Social and Legal Sciences: Business Economics, Geography, Latin and Mathematics Applied to Social Sciences .
– Engineering and Architecture: Technical Drawing, Mathematics , Physics.
